2023 CAF to stage in Morocco on December 11
The annual CAF Awards will be presented on December 11 in Morocco, the Confederation of African Football, or CAF, has announced.
On Tuesday, it published a statement on their official website.
The football governing body for Africa made a suggestion that the time and host city would be revealed soon.
The highlight of the ceremony will be the announcement of the CAF African Player of the Year for both the men's and women's categories. The awards will honour the outstanding club and national performers from the previous year.
Sadio Mane of Bayern Munich and Senegal's national team earned the Men's Player of the Year honour at the previous iteration of the competition.
The winner of the women's award was Asisat Oshoala of the Barcelona Femeni of the Spanish Iberdola team.
In recent years, Oshoala has dominated the division, triumphing in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2022.
At the awards presentation, there will be competition in a number of additional categories.
