4 Things To Do To Restore Any Lost Thing In Your Life - Apostle Joshua Selman

As Christians, there are a lot of things that we have lost both spiritually and physically but it is important for us to know that we can recover them all through divine restoration. However, Apostle Joshua Selman spoke to his members about the 4 keys to restoring any lost thing in your life. They are:

1. Self Examination (2 Corinthians 13:5)

He said that when people are downcast, they do not take the personal responsibility of saying "listen why am I here?" This is not self-condemnation and you have to sit with yourselves and ask why things are going wrong with you. You have to sit down and ask yourselves honest questions. Sometimes, pain is a gift because it can bring you to a point when you come to yourself. You must have a time you go for a personal retreat and say "Lord, I am not happy how my life is going."

2. Brokenness (Psalm 51:17)

He said that brokenness is a state of recognizing your inability to help yourself unassisted. Many people want God to restore them but that sense of self-righteousness and pride is still alive there. He said that brokenness is not something you assume, it is a state that everyone around you will know that you are broken. The character of brokenness is that you admit without shame. Many people are unable to receive restoration in their life because they are not genuinely broke.

3. Knowledge (Proverbs 11:9)

He said that it is not knowledge of your situation or knowledge of what you want, it is knowledge of what it takes. He said most people know what they want, and what they do not want but they do not have the knowledge of what it takes. We need high-level spiritual illumination. He said that you must submit yourself through the labour dimensions of faith to access faith. It is good to have knowledge but in addition, have understood because it brings stability to your life.

4. The Prophetic (Isaiah 42:22)

Restoration does not just happen, someone has to say it," he said. There are certain results that you cannot just get yourselves because God has positioned people within the body that in addition and connection of your faith. He said that when the Prophetic is administered outside the scriptures, it just becomes a display of ignorance with no potency and power. But when it is administered within the jurisdiction of the scriptures, it works power and wonders. There is a dimension of growth, restoration, and excellence that only the prophetic can bring into your life.
