"Acting is for him, not for me," Yul Edochie's daughter, Dani, declares in her Instagram post
Nollywood producer and actor Yul Edochie was mocked by many social media users online after his daughter distanced himself from him in a post on Friday. Yul's daughter, in a post on Instagram, warned those who associated him with her father's marriage and asked them to stop tagging her with a poster referring to her father. She dismissed claims of being an actress or having business dealings with Nollywood, stating that people should not force a career on her. She added that she doesn't act in films, nor is she interested in acting, and warned people to stop tagging her in posts related to Yul Edochie.
She wrote: "Please I'm not an actress, I have nothing to do with acting and Nollywood, no nanny for me Abeg. I don't act and I'm not interested in acting. Acting is for him, not me, and I'm a completely different person. I'm on my own identity. Please stop taking me into a post related to him, Nollywood, movies and actors. I don't care about Nollywood" However, many Nigerians accused Yul Edochie's daughter of calling her father "him" and many people claimed she still feels bad about her new marriage to Judy Austin.
