Actress Ekene Umenwa welcomes first child

Star Ekene Umenwa used a special and spiritual maternity photo to reveal the news that she was expecting her first child. 

She recreated the Virgin Mary in pictures that she posted on Instagram to show her appreciation for the Lord's kindness and the gift of motherhood. Ekene thanked Mother Mary and the Blessed Trinity for their help and guidance during her amazing pregnant journey. 

She disclosed that she was moved by a vision to commemorate Mother Mary's maternal care and intercession by dressing like the woman she much admires. 

The actress expressed gratitude for honouring Mother Mary, despite her humble admission that she felt unworthy of her example.

“I am truly blessed by the Lord’s mercy. My pregnancy journey was a wonderful experience, and I give praise to the Blessed Trinity and honour to our Mother Mary, who stood by me throughout.

“In my humble attempt to honour her maternal care and intercession, I was inspired by a vision she gave me while praying at the grotto. It brings me immense joy to be able to dress as Mother Mary, whom I hold dear. Although I feel unworthy to stand in her presence, her mercy has touched me deeply”, she wrote on Instagram.
