Ademola Adeleke declared as the PDP candidate for the Osun governorship election
The Federal High court after its sitting in Osogbo confirmed Senator Ademola Adeleke as the candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the governor elections in Osun state on 16 July.
A PDP aspirant for governor, Dotun Babayemi, challenged Adeleke's candidacy and asked the court to recognize him as the party's candidate.
However, Judge Nathaniel Emmanuel recognized the PDP primary gubernatorial election, which produced Adeleke as the candidate.
