Actor and producer Afeez Owo has lavished his wife and coworker Mide with praise, praising her for putting up with him and calling her a great partner who is neither "wicked" nor strict at home or in public.  

In a recent interview with Oyinmomo TV, Afeez talked candidly about their 22-year marriage and disclosed that they had unusual and distinctive pet names in common.  

Attributing their enduring partnership to God's faithfulness and the equilibrium they have preserved throughout the years, he clarified that their union lives on balance rather than extremes of strictness or tranquility.

He said, “I call her Iya Alekuleja, and she calls me Baba Elere. Those aren’t the usual pet names like dear or honey, but it works for us because of the closeness we share. Our marriage isn’t the kind where the husband has to be overly strict or the wife has to remain overly calm; we’ve built it on balance, and God has been faithful to us.

“22 years of marriage is no small thing. Ajoke, thank you for putting up with me. I swear to God, my wife is not a wicked woman, whether at home or in public”.

The pair has two lovely girls together and has been married since 2003.
