Amotekun officials arrest wanted cultist in Osun

According to Amotekun Osun, the Western Security Network Agency, Taiwo Ogunsola is being held in detention for involvement in cult-related activities.

Ogunsola, a 29-year-old man who has long been on the Osun Police Anti-Cultism Unit's wanted list, was detained in the Olomilagbala region of Ilesa, Osun State, according to a statement from the Corps Commander of the security group, Brigadier General Bashir Adewinmbi.

“Amotekun operatives swung into action immediately and burst the residence of the suspect where a dane gun and axe were found with him, and he was apprehended.

“The suspect confessed to being a member of the Eiye confraternity and he has been a member for a long time,” Adewinmbi said.

Adewinmbi continued by saying that the suspect has been given to the police for questioning and eventual prosecution.
