Anambra senator Ifeanyi Ubah dies aged 52
Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, a federal legislator from the Anambra South Senatorial District, passed away. He was fifty-two years old.
The politician, who had taken a terrible illness a few weeks prior and had flown to the UK, passed away on Saturday morning in a hospital in London. It has been stated that for the last 48 hours, his condition has gotten worse.
As of Saturday morning, the cause of death was unknown. Under the Young Progressive Party (YPP) platform, Ubah was elected to the Senate in 2019 and was reelected in 2023.
He switched parties earlier this year, joining the All Progressives Congress (APC), and he has expressed interest in running for Anambra State governor in the upcoming election.
