Antony set to join Manchester United
Antony is prepared to join Manchester United after his club set a high asking price tag on him.
Man United have been linked with a move for Antony this summer since Erik ten Hag became a part of the Red Devils.
Ten Hag, who coached the 22-year-old at Ajax, is eager to boost his attacking options ahead of the new season.
Antony thrived under Ten Hag at Ajax last season, scoring 12 goals and registering ten assists in the Eredivisie.
Man United have already approached Ajax about the Brazilian but the Dutch champions have made it clear they want a transfer fee of more than €70m (£60m) for the player.
According to the Times, Antony is pushing to join Man United this summer but Ajax is ready to stand firm and has made it clear they don't want any more high-profile departures in the wake of Ryan Gravenberch and Sebastien Haller.
The report added that Man United hoped a £40m package would have been enough to tempt Ajax to sell Antony.
