APC PRIMARY ELECTION: Bola Tinubu leads as the sorting of ballots goes on
 Former Lagos State Governor Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken an early lead in the race for the All Progressives Congress 2023, APC presidential ticket, as ballot sorting began this morning. Tinubu's name was mentioned more frequently when organizers of the party's presidential primary sorted two ballot boxes in Eagle Square. Tinubu, who before the vote had received the approval of six candidates who stepped down for him, is being pursued by former Minister of Transport, Mr. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi; and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State; Senator Godswill Akpabio; Professor Ajayi Borroffice; Mr. Dimeji Bankole; Senator Ibikunle Amosun; and Ms. Uju Ohanenye are the aspirants who stepped down for Tinubu.
