Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak hospitalized

According to Mexican and US media on Wednesday, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has been admitted to the hospital in Mexico City, where he was supposed to give a speech at a business forum.

According to CNN, which cited an unidentified source from the forum's organisers, Wozniak, 73, was scheduled to speak at the World Business Forum on Wednesday afternoon but was taken to a hospital after fainting.

There was no information about his health in the report.

The El Universal newspaper and the Televisa network, among other Mexican media outlets, claim that Wozniak suffered a stroke and was recovering in a private hospital with a "stable" condition.

Together with Steve Jobs, who passed away in 2011, the software engineer founded Apple in 1976.

According to the forum's website, Wozniak was scheduled to talk about his collaboration with Jobs as well as the dangers associated with technology, including cryptocurrencies and artificial intelligence.
