On January 11, 2024, Brigadier General Mohammed Aminu, Commander of the 35 Artillery Brigade, sent 365 pawpaw-sized packaged Cannabis Sativa pieces, totaling around 176 kg, to the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency's Ogun State Command.

The command on its X page on Saturday announced this.

The culprit was taken into custody on January 6, 2024, during a routine patrol in Olodo Imeko, Ogun State, along the Imeko-Abeokuta Road.

Colonel Legborsi Nule, the Garrison Commander, spoke on behalf of the Commander and reaffirmed the Brigade's continued cooperation with law enforcement in the fight against crime. He also emphasised the Brigade's dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism among soldiers.

Jane Odili, the commandant of NDLEA Ogun State Command, commended the Brigade's work and advocated for closer coordination with the state's armed forces and other security organisations.
