Benue SSG, Joseph Alakali resigns from post
Professor Joseph Alakali has left his post as the Benue State government's secretary. This was disclosed in a statement on Tuesday by Sir Tersoo Kula, the State Governor Hyacinth Alia's chief press secretary.
According to him, Alakali tendered his resignation on Monday, citing his need for time off to deal with personal matters.
“In accepting the resignation, Gov. Alia expressed gratitude to Prof. Alakali for serving the state under his administration for a year and three months.
“He wishes him well and prays that the Almighty grants the former SSG the strength to tackle the many challenges he has chosen to address”, the statement added.
