Body of missing UK-based Nigerian found in lake
The body of the missing mother, 53, from London was discovered and identified by the Metropolitan Police as being in a lake close to the Bluewater Shopping Center in Kent.
Balogun from Crayford was last spotted four weeks ago close to her home in southeast London.
In the search for a "vulnerable" missing mother who went missing four weeks ago from her London home, her body was discovered in a lake at Bluewater shopping centre, according to a report by Daily Mail UK.
The body of a woman was discovered in a lake in Kent, according to the Met Police, who also claimed that although her death was unexpected, it was not being investigated as suspicious.
The force tweeted: “A woman’s body was recovered from a lake near Bluewater Shopping Centre on Friday, December 30. While formal identification awaits, Taiwo Balogun’s family has been informed.
“Her death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious. Our thoughts are with Taiwo’s family.â€
On the day she vanished, at around 2:27 pm, footage from a CCTV camera captured Balogun at the lottery booth inside a store on Crayford Road in Dartford.
