Borno: Suicide bomber dies, injures two after detonating bomb
According to Nahum, the incident happened on Sunday night at around eight o'clock during the Muslims' nightly prayers.
An improvised explosive device (IED) detonated close to the roundabout by a male suicide bomber who was thought to be targeting a mosque, ultimately taking his own life.
“Two passersby who were wounded by the explosive were immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment,” the police spokesman said.
In response to the event, Nahum revealed that security guards were sent right away to the location in order to bring everything back to normal.
