Sam Asghari, Britney Spears' fiancé appreciates fans for supportt following miscarraige

Britney Spears' fiancé Sam Asghari has thanked fans for the support they've received after she announced her miscarriage over the weekend.

In his post on Instagram, Asghari shared that despite the loss of their child, he and Spears are still working to expand their family.

The couple announced on Saturday that they had lost their "miracle baby."

The joint statement shared on their Instagram read, "It is with our deepest sadness that we announce the loss of our miracle baby early in the pregnancy."

“This is a devastating time for all parents. Maybe we should have waited until we were further along to make the announcement. However, we were overly excited to share the good news.”

“Our love for one another is our strength. We will continue to try to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We ask for privacy at this difficult moment.”

The message was signed 'Sam and Britney'.

In April, Spears announced they were expecting their first child together - the baby would have been Britney's third.

She wrote on Instagram, "I took a pregnancy test... and uhhhhh... I'm having a baby."

Britney Spears and Asghari got engaged in September 2021 after almost five years together. Earlier this month, Asghari announced that they had set a wedding date.

Back in November 2021, Britney Spears had received her freedom from her 13-year conservatorship on what she described as the "best day ever." The end of the conservatory also allowed her to remove the contraceptive IUD that had hindered her from having a baby.
