Coolpad Cool 20s launched in China

  Coolpad Cool 20s has been announced in China. In May last year, the Chinese manufacturer announced the Cool 20 handset, which was a 4G device. Next came the Cool 20 Pro in November 2021, a 5G smartphone powered by the Dimensity 900. Officially launched today, the 5G-enabled Cool 20s sits between the Cool 20 and Cool 20 Pro smartphones. 

The Cool 20s features a 6.58-inch LCD panel with a teardrop notch design. It offers a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. There is an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front of the device. On the back is a 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The Dimensity 700 is at the forefront of the Cool 20s. The phone features 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The device packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The Cool 20s comes preinstalled with the Android 11 operating system overlaid with Cool OS 2.0. Other features available on the device include a dual SIM slot, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C, dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack and a side fingerprint scanner.

The Cool 20s has a starting price of 999 yuan (~$148). It comes in Firefly Black, Moon Shadow White, and Azure Blue colours. It's available for pre-order now in China and the first sale is scheduled for June 17th.
