Customs confiscate, hands over massive arms and ammunition in Lagos
The Nigeria Customs Service (NSC) is prepared to turn up the vast quantities of various weapons and ammunition that were smuggled into the nation by some dishonest people and stopped by service officers and soldiers.
The National Centre for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NCCSALW) in Lagos will receive the hazardous materials, albeit the quantity and cost have not yet been made public.
Adewale Adeniyi, the Comptroller-General of Customs, is currently in Lagos to speak to reporters at the Federal Operation Unit (FOU) Zone "A" in Ikeja.
