Datti urges supporters not to be distracted by BBNaija show
Senator Yusuf Datti Ahmed, the vice presidential candidate for the Labour Party, has urged their supporters to remain committed to their cause.
Datti warned all of their supporters, referred to as Obidients, not to get sidetracked by the seventh season of Big Brother Naija on television.
Youths on social media are supporting Peter Obi and his party.
Meanwhile, the seventh season of Big Brother Naija, which attracts more young people as viewers, started on Saturday.
There are assumptions that the performance will grab the teenagers' attention, and as a result, they will stop supporting the Peter Obi movement.
The LP vice presidential candidate on Saturday urged his followers to stay focused in a tweet.
He tweeted, “Dear #Obidients please don’t be distracted with the new season of the Tv show #BBNaija, we have a battle ahead of us.â€
