Delta Airlines set to halt Lagos-New York operations
On October 4, 2022, Delta Airlines will stop operating flights between Lagos and the United States' JFK airport in New York.
This was announced by the airline in a statement, which noted that "the current demand climate" made it essential.
"Delta is stopping its nonstop service between New York-JFK and Lagos state to match the present demand climate," the announcement said in part.
The airline still runs flights between Lagos and Atlanta and provides connections to New York and additional American locations.
The airline stated that it would take care of any affected passengers.
Remember when Emirates Airlines said it would stop flying by September 1 because more than $85 million was stuck in Nigeria?
