Edo government declares more than 200 vehicles missing, recovers three
More than 200 state-owned vehicles are missing, according to the committee the Edo administration established to reclaim government assets.
The information was presented to reporters in Benin City, the capital of Edo State, on Friday by committee chairman Kelly Okungbowa. Less than a day after the group's founding, he said, three of these vehicles had been found.
The Edo people were reassured by Okungbowa that the committee was committed to finding the missing government cars.
He claimed that in one of the three vehicles found, bags of garri and rice intended as palliatives from the federal government for the state's citizens were found.
