EFCC apprehends 74 internet scammers in Ogun

In Ogun State, agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission's (EFCC) Ibadan Zonal Command have taken 74 alleged online scammers into custody. Dele Oyewale, the EFCC spokesperson, stated as much in a statement on Friday in Abuja. 

According to Oyewale, the accused fraudsters were apprehended in Ogun State's Government Residential Area (G.R.A.), Shagamu, after surveillance and intelligence revealed their alleged online misdeeds.

“Items recovered from them include seven exotic cars, three laptops, 124 mobile phones, one PlayStation 3 game, two motorcycles and other incriminating documents.

“They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” he said.
