EFCC arrests 24 suspected online scammers
24 alleged online scammers have been taken into custody by agents of the Abuja Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This was stated in a statement released in Abuja on Friday by its spokesperson, Mr. Dele Oyewale.
He claims that after receiving reliable information regarding the defendants' alleged involvement in online crimes, they were taken into custody in Lokoja on Friday.
According to him, they were found in possession of three automobiles, six laptops, and thirty phones.
”The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” Oyewale said.
