EFCC to arraign 29 Abuja internet fraud suspects
Should it be determined that at least 29 individuals detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission were involved in Internet fraud and other connected offences, they would go on trial.

The accused were reportedly taken into custody by the anti-graft agency's agents in the Federal Capital Territory on Wednesday.

The statement further stated that the suspects had exhibits including automobiles, smartwatches, and cell phones.
It further stated that after an investigation was completed, the suspects would be charged in court.
“Items seized from the suspects include 43 phones of different makes, six vehicles, and two smartwatches. They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” the statement noted.
