EFCC to arraign former aviation minister Sirika, daughter over N2.7 billion fraud
On Thursday, Hadi Sirika, the former minister of aviation, together with his daughter Fatimah and two other accused, are scheduled to appear in court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The individuals are accused of contract fraud of N2.7 billion that was discovered in the Aviation Ministry through the use of Sirika.
On Thursday, the troubled former minister would be charged and put on trial for the first time before Federal High Court Judge Sylvanus Oriji in Abuja.
Sirika is scheduled to appear in court alongside his three co-defendants, Al-Duraq Investment Ltd., his daughter Fatima, and one Jalal Hamma, on allegations that they abused their positions to launder more than N2.7 billion.
