EPL: Man Utd set to discontinue Ronaldo's contract following interview with Piers Morgan

According to DAILY POST, forward Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United likely played his final game for the team.

The 37-year-old claimed to have "no regard" for manager Erik ten Hag and feels "betrayed" by the team in an interview with Piers Morgan.

Ten Hag and the United players are reportedly quite dissatisfied with the timing and format of Ronaldo's interview, according to Sky Sports.

It adds that “United are likely to consider all their options now regarding the player”.

Just after their 2-1 victory at Fulham, a few statements and brief footage started to make their way online. a match in which 18-year-old Alejandro Garnacho made news by scoring the game's winning goal in stoppage time at Craven Cottage.

In order to lead Portugal at the 2022 World Cup, Ronaldo will now take a flight to Qatar.

It will be difficult to watch the five-time Ballon d'Or winner return to Old Trafford after the competition, though.

Ronaldo will have six months left on his current contract when United pays him off in the January transfer window.

Ronaldo attempted to leave the club in the summer to join a Champions League team, but he ended up remaining since Ten Hag has usually kept him on the bench.
