Erik Ten Hag declares that Rashford will remain at Manchester United
Marcus Rashford will remain at Manchester United, according to Erik ten Hag, despite rumours in the media to the contrary.
According to several media reports, the 24-year-old, who has 93 goals in 304 games for his hometown team, could be of interest to other teams.
When the Dutchman spoke with journalists ahead of Saturday's Premier League encounter against Brentford, he quickly played off the rumours.
He is very significant," emphasized Erik.
"You have seen how happy I have been with him since the first day I joined the club.
Without a doubt, I don't want to lose him. He is part of our ambitions and will remain a Manchester United player.
The majority of our preseason contests saw Rashford start, and he participated fully in last Sunday's Premier League debut against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Ten Hag, meantime, expressed his satisfaction with the club's continuous efforts in the transfer market as we strive to bolster the roster for the remainder of the 2022–23 season.
I think we're cooperating incredibly well, I'm thrilled, he said. I am unable to discuss specific people because I am not permitted to discuss players who are under contract with other clubs.
On Thursday, September 1 at 23:00 BST, the summer transfer window will close.
