Evangelist Samson Oluwamodede prophesizes dollar will soon exchange for N10
Samson Oluwamodede, a well-known evangelist in the southwest, predicted an economic "boom" and predicted that the naira will soon regain its strength.
Oluwamodede, the general overseer of the PCCG (Prayer Centre Church of God), stated that the forces warring against the country's progress that led to the economy becoming a crisis will soon lose it before next year.
The priest from Akure who made this declaration in the capital of Ondo State urged Nigerians to fervently pray for safety from "calamity" in the remaining months of the year.
He claims that the holy spirit revealed to him that the naira, which is currently worth more than 700 to a dollar, will soon be worth N10.
The prophet claimed that he has previously foretold that Tobi Amusan will bring glory to Nigeria while reiterating that he does not make fake prophecies.
"Today, I also want you to mark my words. The dollar will fall and we would have the naira gain its strength. Like a drama, it would be shocking to Nigerians. I repeat again, we shall have (one) dollar as N10 to our currency.
“You remember I once prophesied that a young lady would bring out the glory of this country through a tournament in sport and that prophecy came to pass. The lady, Amusan (Tobi) is doing us proud now.
“Our economy will boom and it would affect all the sectors which would start working again. Children of God, you have to pray tirelessly.â€
Oluwamodede declared that "no one should yet give up on the current state of things in the country," suggesting that the nation would eventually change from bad to good, particularly in terms of its economy.
He continued by predicting that the country would soon see a new dawn and exhorting Nigerians to have more faith and confidence in God.
The preacher continued by saying that without the prayers and donations of religious believers from all around the country, Nigeria would have been in worse shape, proving that the Church of God in the country has not fallen short of its responsibility to aid in nation-building.
