Ex-convict murdered in father's house in Ogun
Adeniji Ibrahim, a 28-year-old ex-convict, was slain in front of his father's home in the Abule Oke neighbourhood of Yewa North Local Government Area, State.
According to trustworthy sources, the 28-year-old Ibrahim passed away early on Wednesday.
Additionally, it was learned that Adeniji Kamorudeen, the deceased's father, reported the incident to the Imasayi Police Division.
According to the report, “Kamorudeen had reported at the station that some group of people arrested his son with the allegations of stealing and later killed him in the front of his house.
“He stated further that he knew that his son, Ibrahim was a criminal and had just returned from prison for a similar criminal offence, noting that he did not suspect anyone in connection with the case.”
Omolola Odutola, the Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the event and stated that the command is looking into it and has launched a manhunt for the attackers.
She said: “ Yes, it is true, the incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday. The command is investigating.”
