FAAN commences e-tags sales at airports
The sale of 2024 e-tags, which will allow access to all 24 of Nigeria's federal airports, was started on Friday by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
The sale of the tags was in accordance with a presidential directive that was authorised by the Federal Executive Council (FEC), according to a statement released by FAAN and made accessible to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.
It stated that the meeting decided that all users of federal airports nationwide must pay fees at the gates.
Numerous people visited the airport and purchased the tags, according to Mr. Francis Ajaguna, Head of Public Affairs, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA), who spoke with NAN.
”FAAN’s Commercial Department confirms that it has started issuing the e-tags and people are buying them,” he said.
