Festus Keyamo creates podcast, says purpose is to catalogue Tinubu's achievements

Festus Keyamo, a spokesperson for the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, has released the first episode of his highly-publicized podcast barely four days before the official start of the election campaign.

On Saturday night, Keyamo posted a portion of his debut podcast on social media and the Whatsapp network.

In the recording, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria is heard describing how the podcast would list the accomplishments of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC's presidential candidate.

The podcast, according to the Minister of State for Labor and Employment, will be used to dispel myths and set the stage as the September 28 election season approaches.

Keyamo stated, “I welcome you to the first edition of a weekly podcast I will bring to you as the chief image maker of this campaign, highlighting the issues, debunking the fallacies and setting the tone for this campaign on a weekly basis.

“Remember, our candidate is an easy one to sell. All you need to do is to look at his record and the records are there for everyone to see. Next week, we shall look at some of them and the person of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he added. 

A pre-recorded programme or audio discussion on a variety of current events that is made available in digital format for downloading over the Internet is known as a podcast. An episodic collection of digital audio or video files that a user may download to a personal device and listen to whenever they want is an example of a podcast.
