Fire guts Ado Bayero mall in Kano
A portion of the Ado Bayero Mall on Zoo Road in Kano, which was formerly home to Game Stores, was severely damaged by an unexpected lunchtime fire outbreak on Wednesday.
The mall's lease manager, Elizabeth Adeyemo, reported that firefighters are currently working feverishly to put out the fire.
According to The PUNCH, the patrons were being denied access to the shopping centre.
The manager clarified that the goal was to provide the fire fighters unrestricted access so they could extinguish the fire as quickly as feasible. The cause of the fire was unknown as of the time this report was submitted.
