A multi-million naira PADOFEC Plaza in Trademore Mega Estate in Lugbe, Abuja, has been damaged by a late-night fire.  When firefighters got on the site, they worked diligently to extinguish the fire.  

The extent of the incident's losses is increased when a store selling electrical goods in the Plaza is totally demolished.  However, at the time of the fire, there was no power supply.  

It is difficult to determine the direct cause of the fire because, as we have learnt, the shop was not powered by solar energy.
