Fountain of Life founder Pastor Odunkoya is dead

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, has passed away. 

According to reports, Odukoya passed away in the USA on Monday, August 7. 

In a statement, the church said, “The fountain of Life Church Family, in tatal submission to the will of God Almighty announces the passing unto greater glory of our Father, Teacher;

“…A great servant of the Most High God, Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya, Founding Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, who passed unto glory on the 7th of August 2023 in the USA.

“We are in total submission to you LORD!!!

“We thank the Lord for the gift of greater leader!!!”

Odukoya was born on June 15, 1956, in Kaduna, Colonial Nigeria, where he also had his upbringing. Before enrolling at the University of Ibadan in 1976, where he earned a degree in petroleum engineering in 1981, he completed his primary and secondary education at the Baptist Primary School, Kigo Road, Kaduna, and St. Paul's College (now known as Kufena College, Wusasa), respectively. 

After completing the required one-year National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) programme, Odukoya began working as a petroleum engineer for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in April 1982. He remained there until his voluntary retirement in January 1994, when he was called into the ministry.
