Funke Akindele ex-husband, JJC Skillz celebrates actress
In the midst of their recent divorce, Abdulrasheed Bello, a Nigerian music and film executive better known by his stage as JJC Skillz, wished his estranged wife Funke Akindele a happy birthday.
On Wednesday, Bello posted a collage of the actress' images and videos to his Instagram profile.
On Wednesday, Funke, who is currently the Peoples Democratic party's deputy governorship candidate, turned 45.
Bello also wrote a loving note to the celebrant, referring to her as his darling "mà má ibeji," a Yoruba term that means "mother of twins."
“Happy birthday my darling mama ibeji @funkejenifaakindele. I pray our children embody the goodness of God and be a blessing to generations.
“Today is your day, celebrate and live to the fullest. Long life and prosperity,†he wrote in the captions.
The divorced couple wed in 2016 and welcomed twins into the world in 2018.
However, Bello broke the news of their divorce through his Instagram page in June, citing problems that were "beyond repair."
