Gov Samuel Ortom returns to Nigeria after reporting Buhari to US authority
Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom returned to Nigeria today, Wednesday, after a two-week working holiday in Britain, UK and the United States of America, USA.
The governor was received at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Wednesday morning by senior party and state government officials in Abuja.
Recall that during his visit to the United States, Ortom called on the American government and other international communities to hold President Muhammadu Buhari and his government responsible for the killings in Nigeria.
The governor, who called the State Department in Washington DC, during his interactions with his officials, also accused Fulani herders of being used as a tool to wipe out farmers from their ancestral lands.
Ortom also told the US agency that “Agriculture in Nigeria is being besieged and decimated; agriculture is dying and food security is threatenedâ€.
