Gov Sanwo-Olu congratulates Tunde Onakoya for setting new chess marathon world record
Renowned chess master Tunde Onakoya has been praised by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for breaking the record for a 60-hour chess marathon.
Sanwo-Olu praised Onakoya in a message published on his X account on Saturday for shattering the world record for the longest chess marathon in Times Square, New York.
He declared that Onakoya's journey from Lagos, Nigeria to international renown captures the essence of the city and complimented it for that reason.
