Hotel staff returns lost $70,000 to customer
Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, a member of the Eko Hotel and Suites staff, has given a Lagos customer back $70,000 that was lost.
She returned the cash that a guest had left behind in a wonderful act of honesty and integrity.
The event happened when the guest, who requested anonymity, left behind a bag in one of the hotel's apartments that contained a sizeable sum of money.
The employee quickly informed the hotel administration after finding the bag.
The General Manager of the hotel immediately started the process of returning the money to its rightful owner in accordance with the establishment's principle of integrity and transparency.
The money was fully returned to the guest after being contacted, much to their relief and appreciation.
The Eko Hotel and Suites' general manager, Danny Kioupouroglou, stated that "this incident is a testimonial to the honesty and integrity of our workers.
“At Eko Hotel and Suites, we pride ourselves on our commitment to ethical conduct and exceptional customer service. We believe that our staff are our greatest asset, and this incident is a testament to that belief.â€
The guest was extremely appreciative of the hotel employees and management, complimenting their efficiency and moral character.
