House of Representatives member Moshood Oshun distributes food packages to 5000 Lagos mainland residents

Moshood Oshun, House of Representatives member for Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency distributes food packages to 5000 households in his district on Friday.

Vulnerable households in Lagos' mainland were selected from community development associations, craftsmen, and educational institutions to receive assistance.

The food packs that were distributed to the recipients contained rice, garri, spaghetti, noodles, sugar, and salt.

Even though Oshun wasn't present when the supplies were being distributed, his aides and supporters were present to give the recipients the food packs.

Jide Jimoh, a former member of the House of Representatives, who initiated the food pack distribution, praised Oshun for remembering and standing by the people in his constituency.

“For him to have thought of assisting members of the different communities with the food items, which are essential, we should give kudos, thank and appreciate him because it is not easy to feed people. It is not easy to help the poor. Many members of the community, no matter where they belong politically are going to benefit.”

Thus, he pleaded with the constituents to repay Oshun with good deeds.

A total of twelve food packs were distributed to the Queens College community in Yaba. The legislator was thanked by Mrs. Abiola Jacobs, who selected the items on behalf of the community, for her unwavering support and remembrance of Queen Colleg, Yaba over the years.

“The lawmaker has always been a very good persons to the Queens College community. He always assists the school and sometimes visits. Recently, one of his personal assistants came to inform the school that we are beneficiaries of the distribution of food pack by the lawmaker.

“I feel very happy about it and on behalf of the Queens College community, we say a big thank you to our House of Representatives member, Moshood Oshun for the love to the school and that the good Lord bless him abundantly.”

Gloria Udoh, another beneficiary, prayed that God would bless the legislator because the gift items would help her family meet some basic needs, particularly given the high cost of food items.
