In the beginning, I thought I had found someone who would make me completely happy- Kafayat Shafau speaks about her divorce
 Kafayat Shafau, a famous dancer also known as Kaffy says her former husband John Ameh made her afraid of quiet people because of his actions, despite his reserved personality. In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, she said: "In the beginning, I thought I had found someone who would make me completely happy. But that was selfish thinking. No human should be anyone's source of happiness. “When you see him (her husband) you will think that he cannot even hurt a fly because he is always calm. I held him in high esteem until I had to ask him why he treated me the way he did. I asked him what he had against me that made him sleep around, even with my best friends. I knew if I really loved him, I had to let him go." The dancer also stated that she started healing after she stopped sleeping with her ex-husband. She said: "I started to experience more healing when I stopped sleeping with him. I was celibate in my marriage for three years before getting divorced.â€
