Israeli-Hamas war: Pakistan mortality rate over 10, 000

According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, at least 10,022 Palestinians have died as a result of Israeli airstrikes thus far.

It further stated that 2,641 women and 4,104 children were among the dead. However, 2,200 more people—2,150 of them children—remain buried beneath the debris.

The Health Ministry added that Palestinians had been denied access to food, fuel, and electricity due to Israel's siege.

"The number is expected to go up as at least 2,000 people remain under the rubble. The problem is, with lack of heavy equipment and machinery, the rescue teams on the ground are unable to remove and pull out these bodies from under the rubble,” it noted.

The spokesperson for the ministry, Ashraf al-Qudra, said that Israel had launched 18 attacks in the last few hours, killing 252 people. He also said that since the war began on October 7, 25,408 people have been wounded, including at least 6,360 children and 4,891 women. Additionally, he said that approximately 4,000 Palestinians have been imprisoned in Israeli prisons during that time.

The Ministry previously revealed that every ten minutes in Gaza, one child dies and two more are injured.

However, since the ground invasion started, the Israeli army has reported at least 1,430 casualties, including 341 soldiers and 58 police officers, in addition to the 25 military officers who have already died. A minimum of 5,600 individuals have sustained injuries, and 242 are either missing or in captivity.

Approximately 89 employees of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) perished in Gaza, many of them with their families by their sides.

At a press conference held yesterday at the UN headquarters in New York, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres disclosed this, calling Gaza "becoming a graveyard for children" and claiming that hundreds of children were killed and injured every day.
