JAMB release 531 withheld 2024 UTME results
An additional 531 results of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, or UTME, have been made public by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, or JAMB.
This was stated by board spokesperson Fabian Benjamin in a statement that was released on Tuesday. With the extra results, JAMB reports that 1,842,897 results have been released thus far.
Part of the statement reads, “As promised, the Board is proceeding with the screening of over 64,000 withheld results. It has, however, released additional 531 results, taking the total number of results released to 1,842,897.
“In the course of the exercise, other cases of examination misconduct were also established to make a tally of 92 from the 81 initially discovered.
“The Board is also looking at cases of unverified candidates and would soon come up with a position.”
Remembers that the results of the 2024 UTME were released on April 29 by Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, the Registrar of JAMB. However, Oloyede pointed out that the board withheld the results of 64,624 of the 1,904,189 people who took the exam, and they will be looked at.
