A judge at the Lagos State High Court ordered the arrest of a suspected fake attorney on Thursday, causing a little drama.

The man wearing attorney's regalia appeared in court to defend a client, but the judge questioned his legal status, leading to his arrest.

The judge was heard shouting, "Take off that wig," in the video that has gone viral. I'm immediately demanding his arrest. Arrest him, police!

When the man allegedly tried to leave the courthouse after the arrest order, things got more dramatic.

“Officer, there’s an impostor here. This man is not a lawyer. Remove your wig and gown. You are not a lawyer. I want you to arrest him,” the judge said.

This comes around one month after a 55-year-old man was found guilty by the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja of posing as a lawyer and using a fake Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) seal.
