Khloe Kardashian turns down Tristan Thompson's marriage proposal

When Khloe Kardashian declined Tristan Thompson's marriage proposal, she felt "humiliated," but she didn't tell her famous family.

Khloe, 38, and her cheating ex-basketball player have two kids together. He also encouraged Khloe to carry out their second child's surrogacy plan. Two kids are shared by Khloe and Tristan.

Khloe's encounter with the horrific situation served as the focal point of the most recent season of The Kardashians, and she has been brutally honest about her feelings.

She revealed in the most recent episode that Tristan had proposed to her on one knee before she found out about his most recent extramarital affair and the baby's December birth.

Khloe didn't inform her family of her decision to reject the proposal until much later, and in a confessional, her sister Kim Kardashian revealed how she had called Tristan to inquire about Khloe's status and that he had verified her engagement.

"The fact that he proposed and you never told us," said Kim. "I asked him months later, the night after I thought it happened, and he said, 'Oh I did it months ago. She didn't tell you guys?'"

Khloe opens up about the situation

"I said I need to make sure this is a totally different relationship because I want to be proud to say I'm engaged to anyone," Khloe said in her own confessional.

"That's why I said I'm not comfortable accepting this right now, because I'm not excited to tell my family."

"As hurtful as that probably was for him to hear, it was the truth. I'm not ever going to accept something and give someone false hope."

When talking about the proposal she said: "Ooof. I don't know, if someone asked me I would have to say yes, I'd feel so bad."

After Tristan kissed Jordyn Woods, the ex-BFF of Khloe's sister Kylie Jenner, at a party in Los Angeles, the two subsequently reconciled, but there was a very public breakup.

Khloe and Tristan once more rekindled their romance as True was shared between them and they co-parented during the coronavirus quarantine. But on his birthday in March 2021, Tristan went astray by sleeping with model Maralee Nichols; as a result, she became pregnant.

In the most recent episode of The Kardashians, Khloe chastised Tristan for being unfaithful while their relationship was in such a "fantastic" place.
