Kwara gov Abdulrazaq inaugurates committee on minimum wage
The Consequential Adjustment Committee on Minimum Wage was officially inaugurated on Friday by Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
According to DAILY POST, the development occurred just twenty-four hours after he formed the eighteen-member group.
A statement by his spokesman, Rafiu Ajakaye, in Ilorin on Friday, said “the governor charged members of the committee to look at all the variables and design an agreement that caters for the interest of the workers, other segments of the society, and consider issues of development.”
Top state officials, labour union leaders, and members of the state's organised private sector attended the committee members' induction ceremony held in the government house's council chambers in Ilorin.
