The truck and the Mazda bus collided head-on as a result of the accident, which was attributed to speeding too much and a route violation.

According to Okpe, the deceased's remains have been placed in Lantoro Hospital in Abeokuta, while the injured have been transported to General Hospital in Ijaye.
