Lagos detains 25 culprits, seizes hard drugs
In an effort to bolster peace and order, the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps conducted an early-morning raid in Lekki today, which resulted in the arrest of 25 miscreants.
Tokunbo Wahab, the Commissioner for Water and Environmental Resources, made this revelation in a statement on X.com on Thursday.
Wahab claims that during the operation, items on the miscreants—who have now been taken into custody—that seemed to be hard drugs were discovered.
The statement read: “During the early morning raid in the Lekki-Ajah axis, operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI) #LAGESCOfficial arrested 25 miscreants in Lekki.
“Substances suspected to be hard drugs were also found on them. They have been detained, and appropriate legal action will be taken.”
