Lagos govt shuts mosque, hotels, others over noise pollution
A mosque, hotels, and other establishments around the state have been sealed by the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, or LASEPA.
As part of its initiatives to combat noise pollution in the state, LASEPA sealed off the establishments.
The agency stated in a post on X that the impacted businesses were situated in the state's Oshodi/Isolo region.
According to LASEPA: “As part of its ongoing initiatives to tackle noise pollution and other environmental violations, yesterday, LASEPA sealed several establishments, including a mosque, a company, and hotels in the Oshodi/Isolo area of the state for various environmental infractions.
“The facilities affected are Adura Agba Ratibi Mosque, Stag Engineering Nig Ltd, Green Point Hotel, 4 Season Hotel and Suites, Big Apple Hotel and Suites, Honey Dew Hotel and Suites, Humble Signature Hotel and Suites, and New Ground Hotel.â€
