Lagos sentences 12 prostitutes to prison

On Wednesday, the Lagos Environmental Sanitation Corps (LAGESC), also referred to as KAI, succeeded in securing the conviction of twelve commercial prostitutes.

During a dislodgement operation headed by the Corps Marshal of the Agency, they were found guilty of charges touching on prostitution and disruption of peace and were sentenced to eight months in prison.

The Corps Marshal, Major Olaniyi Olatunbosun Cole (rtd) made this disclosure on Monday at the Command Headquarters of the Agency at Bolade-Oshodi, Lagos.
