Late General Abacha's son, Abdullahi, is dead
General Sani Abacha's son, Abdullahi Sani Abacha, was confirmed dead. He was Nigeria's late former military head of state.
He was reportedly healthy the night before, according to a family member in Kano who expressed shock at the man's passing.
He said that he passed away peacefully in his sleep early on Saturday at his mother's house, located at 39 Nelson Mandela Street. Abuja's Asokoro.
The deceased, who was unmarried at the time of his death and was one of the nine children of the former Head of State, was Mustapha's older brother by one year. Mustapha was born while the General was in charge.
